Do college employees receive a discount on hotel/motel accommodations as an employee of the state?

Many hotel chains and other entities offer discounts for state employees and students. Charges are consistent with the carriers rates.

 

How can I find out about what dental insurance coverage is available for me?

You may address your questions by visiting the deltadental.com web site or calling them directly at 800-735-3379 – Group #600. This information can also be found on the back of your Delta Dental Card.

 

How much sick leave am I entitled to?

Benefited employees receive (5) days of sick leave on their first day of employment. Less than full-time employees leave is prorated accordingly.

 

Were can I find insurance claim forms?

Insurance claim forms may be obtained by visiting the Documents & Forms page of the Human Resources portion of the CWC website where the links for the State Insurance Plan, Great West and Delta Dental are located.

 

When can I expect my W2?

In accordance with Internal Revenue Service guidelines, W2’s are mailed no later than January 31 each year.

 

When does sick leave begin to accrue?

Accrual commences in the sixth month of employment

 

Who is eligible to receive Tuition Scholarship Benefits?

Full-time, benefited employees, defined as those working 40 hours per week during their employment period, are eligible to receive a 100 percent tuition and general fees scholarship for up to three (3) credits per semester. Dependents of full-time, benefited employees are eligible to receive a 50 percent tuition and general fees scholarship. There is no credit limit for dependents.

Less than full-time, benefited employees are eligible to receive a 50 percent tuition and general fees scholarship for up to three (3) credits per semester.
