Disaster Drill 2019
May 3, 2019On April 24, health science students had the opportunity to work with members of the community during a disaster drill. This year's simulation was an explosion in the dorms of CWC. Students from other departments such as theatre, film, and new media were also included as well as some drama students from Riverton High School.
2019 Entrada Club trip
April 2, 2019Members of CWC's Entrada Club traveled to North Carolina during spring break to gain experience and knowledge about culture in a different state.
Haiti Service Trip
March 28, 2019A small group of second-year nursing students traveled to Haiti over spring break to collaborate with other healthcare professionals in providing care to the Haitian people. Big River
March 5, 2019CWC's theatre department put on a production of Big River, a musical interpretation of the Mark Twain classic, The Adventures of Huckleberry Finn.
Tanzania Expedition
February 21, 2019As part of a science-based NOLS course offered in partnership between Central Wyoming College, the University of Wyoming and NOLS, nine students from around the country traveled to East Africa for a 28-day scientific adventure that started in early January. Of the nine students, five are CWC students; Aaron Strubhar, Tobias Osborne, Bailey Lewis, Gabriel Spoonhunter and John McCormick.
