Welcome to the world of psychology. There is more mystery in this field, more excitement, and certainly more opportunity to help others. It's a field that is wide open for exploration. Psychology is the science of how people think, feel, act and interact. The study of the human mind is considered the great challenge of this century.

Central Wyoming College’s Psychology Program provides the first two years of study in these fields such as counseling, addiction, clinical psychology, psychiatry, and more. Our program goes beyond the usual history and foundational classes in order to emphasize the study of brain anatomy and current neurological research. Students will learn key concepts and theories in cognitive, emotional and social processes along with research methods and strategies for psychological assessment.  Students who attend here are more equipped with cutting-edge psychological science than at our sister colleges.  Our students frequently go on to such reputable institutions as the University of Colorado, the University of California at San Diego, the University of Washington, and of course, the University of Wyoming.
