CWC quadruples Komen fundraising goal

Congratulations to Team Central and its fantastic finish in the Susan G. Komen Race for the Cure in Wyoming.
The Central Wyoming College team, headed by Kathryn DeWitt, raised more than four times its original goal due in part to Communication Professor Jane Warren, who came in second in the state as an individual fundraiser.
Team Central placed third overall in the amount raised. The original fundraising goal was $1,000, yet the team garnered more than $4,000 in donations. Team members participated in the Komen Race for the Cure on Saturday, August 13 in Cheyenne.
