CWC Lander and the Alpine Science Institute

Lander, Wyoming

Lander's Community College

Central Wyoming College outreach in Lander provides the community with access to college classes, community enrichment programs and more. If you are a degree seeking student, we offer complete programs that lead to degrees in several disciplines, most notable being our Outdoor Education program in the nearby Sinks Canyon. We also offer a variety of online degree programs for students needing more flexibility.

Two Lander Locations

Between the two locations you can take courses that fulfill nearly all of CWC's general education requirements.

CWC Lander

Located just outside of downtown Lander, we offer a selection of credit and community enrichment programs as well as Adult Basic Education and High School Equivalency(HEQ) courses.

The Alpine Science Institute

In the foothills of the Wind River Mountains, just outside of Sinks Canyon State Park is the Alpine Science Institute. This living, learning field school for Outdoor Education students is a great launching pad for outdoor recreation enthusiasts.
