CWC EVP on Complete College America team from Wyoming

January 1, 2012

Central Wyoming College’s Executive Vice President for Student and Academic Services Jason Wood is one of two state community college representatives selected to serve on Gov. Matt Mead’s Complete College America team.

Mead invited Wood and Gillette College VP Mark Englert to join with University of Wyoming and executive branch officials to represent the state in the Complete College America Alliance of States. Wyoming is joining the alliance with the aim of increasing the number of students who successfully complete college.

The team has been invited to the Third Annual Convening of the Alliance of States in New Orleans Dec. 13-14 as guests of the Complete College America Alliance.

The goal of Mead’s team is to improve college completion rates at UW and the community colleges as a means to prepare a better workforce and a brighter future for Wyoming residents.
