Images by Wyoming nature photographer on exhibit at CWC

Images by Wyoming-born nature photographer Jim Brown are on exhibit in the Robert A. Peck Arts Center Gallery at Central Wyoming College Oct. 10 through Nov. 16.

The photographer is honored at an Oct. 12 opening reception in the gallery, scheduled for 6:30-8:30 p.m. The public is invited.
 
Brown began taking pictures at age 11 when he received a Kodak Browning for his birthday He has been studying nature and photography since and has captured spectacular images of Wyoming wildlife as well as scenery of the west.
 
He worked for the U.S. Department of Agriculture as an animal damage control specialist and studied under some of the top men in the field on wildlife behavior. “Now I continue to pursue the nature I love, and extend my knowledge in the art of photography,” he said.
 
The gallery is open during regular college business hours.
