Pre-college math, English courses combined with 1000 courses

January 1, 2012

Central Wyoming College is encouraging highly motivated students to “Get It Done” by combining pre-college level math and English courses with college-level classes all in one semester.

To eliminate possible “exit points,” CWC is offering a pre-college algebra course with MATH 1000, a college-level problems solving course. The courses are taught in the Math Center by Kate Patterson, the daughter of math Professor Emeritus Carol Rardin.

A pre-college composition course is included with English 101O, a college-level composition course which students can complete in just one semester. English instructor Buck Tilton teaches both classes and assists students outside of the course in the Tutor Center.

Instructor or advisor permission is required.
