Ms. Wheelchair USA is speaker at CWC TEDx event

January 1, 2013

Ms. Wheelchair USA Ashlee Lundvall of Cody is one of the speakers at TEDx, an event at Central Wyoming College Wednesday, Oct.2, at 5:30 p.m. in the Robert A. Peck Arts Center Theatre.
Lundvall, a passionate outdoors woman who became wheelchair bound following a ranch accident as a 16-year-old, is one of several inspirational speakers at TEDx.

Tickets for the public event, sponsored by CWC’s Department of Workforce and Community Education, are available online at www.TEDxCentralWyomingCollege.com and are sold at the door for $10.

Following graduate school, Lundvall met her husband Russ and discovered being confined to a wheelchair should not prevent her from enjoying the outdoors.  She is an avid kayaker, four-wheeler, and hunter. She won the Ms. Wheelchair 2013 title in July 2013.

Other speakers for the evening include a trio of film producers, NASA outdoor leadership trainer John Kanengieter, and Harvard fellow and innovation expert Maxwell Wessel.

More detail on the speakers is featured on the website at www.TEDxCentralWyomingCollege.com.
