Photographer teaches three courses for CWC Lander

Professional photographer Dan Hayward teaches a series of photography classes for Central Wyoming College’s community services program in Lander.

A fine art and commercial photographer, Hayward teaches “The Basics of Digital Camera Adjustments” on Monday, Feb. 24, 6-8 p.m., at the CWC Lander Center at 427 Main St. The course covers the adjustments to cameras; giving participant the ability to take more successful photographs. The cost of the course is $45.

On Feb. 25, Hayward teaches “Basic Photography,” which is geared to anyone wanting a better understanding of photography concepts, including lighting, ISO, aperture, shutter speed and exposure. This class also meets at the CWC Lander Center from 6-9 p.m. and costs $100.

The final session, scheduled for Feb. 28 through March 2, is for students wanting to learn how to shoot subjects indoors, using artificial and ambient lighting. This course is $200.
