After serving as interim president for the past three months, Dr. Brad Tyndall is the new president of Central Wyoming College.

The announcement was made during the CWC Board of Trustees meeting after a unanimous vote by board members. Tyndall was offered a two year contract to be the next president of the college.

“After reviewing Dr. Tyndall’s staff evaluation conducted last month and communicating with many community members and staff, we are pleased to offer Dr. Tyndall the permanent position of president of the college,” said Colton Crane, board chair.

We have had an overwhelming amount of feedback indicating that Dr. Tyndall is the right person for this position and we are excited about the opportunity to offer it to him. ”

After President Cris Valdez took a job at another college, Tyndall was elected the interim president; a decision that was voted unanimously by the board in July.

Tyndall has verbally accepted the position and will now continue the process with a formal contract to be named the new president of CWC.

“I’m tickled pink, happy as a clam,” Tyndall said “We are happy to be here in Riverton and I think we can do many great things for the college. I hope I meet the challenge to everyone’s satisfaction.”
