Rhiannon Allison’s grandfather attended CWC when it first opened, so she wanted to follow in his footsteps. Allison is a freshman from Rawlins studying engineering. Interested in old buildings and art, art professor Matt Flint told her to look into a degree in engineering.

After she finishes her degree at CWC, Allison plans to attend a four year college to earn a bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering.

Allison was nominated by Lee Wickstrom, adjunct instructor.

“She has shown to be an excellent student in my Engineering Problem Solving ES 1060 class,” Wickstrom said. “She shows a great work ethic, and has a knack for helping other students with problems she has already solved. She aspires to become and engineer, and I feel she will make a great one.”

I was interested in architecture which moved to architectural engineering which works on ventilation and electrical wiring. I’m going to focus on electrical engineering until I get established and then I would like to work on older houses and historical buildings. ”
