Brayle Crosman, a sophomore from Grantsville, Utah, will graduate this May with a degree in criminal justice.

The basketball program is what brought Crosman to consider attending Central, and the welcoming environment sealed the deal.

“I also liked the homey feel,” Crosman said.

Upon graduation, Crosman plans on continuing her education for a bachelor’s in criminal justice while playing basketball, or returning home to Utah. Her goal is to eventually serve as a police officer in her home community.

I like the idea of leaving the world better than when I came in. That’s a field I feel like I can do that in. ”

In addition to playing basketball for CWC, Crosman serves as a deputy recruiter for Central and can also be spotted at Rustler events as the beloved mascot, Rusty.

Crosman was nominated by her professor, Maygen Cassity.

“Brayle genuinely cares about her academic success and wants to get everything that she possibly can out of a class,” Cassity said. “She asks great questions and refuses to settle for less when she knows that she is capable of more. Above all else, what I appreciate the most about Brayle is the energy that she brings to the classroom. She is all in, whatever the discussion may be, and as a teacher that is all I could ever hope for.”
