Portrait of Daniel Oldman

Daniel Oldman is a freshman from Riverton working toward a degree in human services with an emphasis on addiction.

“I want to eventually be knowledgeable on my addiction, so I can live sober and productive and help others with the same issues,” Oldman said.

After graduation, Oldman plans on utilizing his degree to make a difference in his personal life as well as in the community. He wants to be a source of aid to anyone who needs the help.

When asked about his experience so far at CWC, Oldman had nothing but positive things to say.

I am thankful for this opportunity and being able to do good work. Everyone is supportive, it seems impossible to fail. ”

Oldman was nominated by his psychology professor, Joseph Fountain.

“Daniel is a proud member of the Northern Arapaho Tribe who faced significant challenges the first two weeks of class, facing serious health concerns and suffering the loss of a close relative,” Fountain said. “Through an exceptional work ethic and commitment to academic success, he not only made up all the missed work but has earned 103 percent grade in his general psychology course.”
