Florenzo Bauer was learning journalism in high school and enjoyed telling stories which led him to the desire to tell stories in a modern way; through film. Bauer is now in his second year at CWC studying film.

“Jeremy Nielsen is a wonderful teacher,” Bauer said. “I have a wonderful group of film majors that push me everyday.”

Bauer plans to attend Grand Canyon University in Phoenix to earn a bachelor’s degree in screenwriting.

I would love to be a director or writer for movies and tv shows. ”

In his freetime Bauer enjoys playing music, learning how to longboard and hangout with his siblings. He is a member of the film club and works in the CWC library.

Bauer was nominated by Lily Draper, library and academic resource center assistant.

“Florenzo helps keep the library running. He is a knowledgeable and dependable worker,” Draper said. “He helps train new student workers and is always patient when you ask him a question. I really appreciate his friendly attitude and that he is willing to take on involved projects. I believe he sets a good example for our other student workers.”
