He attested that CWC has given him a lot of opportunities to expand his education. As a member of Phi Theta Kappa he had the opportunity to apply for more scholarships.

Phister is on the CWC golf team. He is also a tutor for stats and anatomy, a member of the LDSSA club and a lab assistant for anatomy. In his free time, he likes to play basketball, snowboard and play the guitar.

He was nominated by Whitney Martinez, education/skills development coach.

“Kyle is so patient with the students he tutors. He is careful with his phrasing as to not further confuse students with any subjects,” Martinez said. “He speaks slowly and clearly so students can understand where each word begins and ends but in a way that is not disrespectful. His examples for word definitions are excellent and he ALWAYS makes sure they understand before continuing. Kyle is kind, respectful, and will do whatever he needs to do to go above and beyond for others that working hard.”
