Rustler Spotlight: Chelsea Bad Hawk

Chelsea “Shay” Bad Hawk chose CWC because it was close to home and said she likes being close to her family. She was a member of the cross-country team in fall 2016.

Bad Hawk is studying psychology and is wants to go into forensic psychology.

“I am really interested in criminology,” Bad Hawk said. After she finishes her degree at CWC, Bad Hawk would like to transfer to a four year college to work towards earning a forensic degree.

Bad Hawk is the president of the United Tribes Club, a student senator and a student ambassador which she said was the class is the most fun.

Bad Hawk was nominated by Coralina Daly, vice president of student services.

“Shay is a committed student who is involved in many ways,” Daly said. “Shay recently helped with the Red Cross smoke alarm installation on the reservation and plans to sign up as a Red Cross volunteer. Shay is a hard worker focused on making the most out of her life while being helpful to others. Shay plans to join the military upon graduation.”
