Taylor Kotas chose CWC because it was close to home. She is studying pre-engineering.

“I like the small class sizes and the one on one with teachers,” Kotas said. “I really like Riverton, it’s a cozy little town.”

Kotas said her favorite class is computer hardware maintenance where she builds a computer by hand. One Kotas’s favorite instructor is Mike Bostik.

“He loves teaching and helping others learn,” Kotas said. “Having the excitement in the air in class helps the students be motivated.”

After CWC she plans to transfer to the University of Wyoming to complete a bachelor’s degree in computer science.

Kotas was nominated by Bostik who is the associate professor of mathematics.

Taylor is an exceptional CWC student, tutor, and founder of the CWC board game club. Taylor exceeds expectations in her challenging math and engineering courses, submits excellent work and collaborates effectively with other students. On campus you can find Taylor tutoring math and computer applications in the tutoring lab, or playing board games with the Chess Club or the newly created CWC Board Game Club. ”
