Trenton Smith is a freshman from Wright, Wyoming. Smith liked the location of CWC and that it was cost efficient. Smith said he enjoys being close to the mountains, the small campus and knowing most of the people on campus. He is also a cross country runner for CWC and is studying biological science.

I want to be a park ranger or a game warden. ”

Smith will graduate next May and plans to transfer to the University of Wyoming to earn a bachelor’s in wildlife management. He hopes to one day work in Wyoming or Montana. In his free time, Smith enjoys hunting and fishing and wants a job that allows him to enjoy the outdoors.

Smith was nominated by his cross country coach, Al Lara.

“Two years ago when he was a senior in high school, I saw how hard of a worker he was and I knew if he was this dedicated to running, I knew he would also be a good student and I was right,” Lara said. “Trenton was one of our top runners all season and also team captain.”
