I want to be an ICU nurse. My overall career goal is to do equine therapy for people with disabilities with a focus on children and people with PTSD. ”

Babcock plans to continue her education after she graduates from CWC and earn a bachelor’s degree in nursing. She is a student ambassador and is involved in other campus activities in addition to her off-campus job at Katie’s Cakery.

In her free time she enjoys spending time with friends, hunting, fishing, shooting, cooking, baking and riding horses.

Babcock was nominated by Coralina Daly, vice president for student affairs.

“Annabeth came to CWC as a leader and hasn't let her transition to college slow her down,” Daly said. “Over winter break she brought the community together for her second free Christmas dinner open to the community. She organized dozens of volunteers, facilities, supplies, and provided a special atmosphere for the lonely and poor on the holiday. Annabeth has a special can-do spirit and her heart for service is exceptional.”
