Our community is the heart of the Alpine Science Institute.
The Alpine Science Institute offers a wide variety of services and programs aimed at meeting the needs of our community. We host an array of various events including educational field days for local schools, youth summer camps, weddings, reunions, business training, and retreats. Our grounds feature a beautiful cottonwood grove, an apple orchard, and a venue near the riverside.

Power Up Expedition
The Power Up Expedition is a week-long backpacking trip into the Wind River Mountains that will make a deep imprint on students
Get ready for a 6-day backpacking trip into the Wind River Mountains. This trip will push your boundaries while building your physical and emotional confidence. Learn how to work with a group and experience real life leadership opportunities. You will experience hands-on learning, giving yourself the independence and freedom from your day-to-day front country life. Challenge yourself by trail cooking, setting up a tent, fishing, map-reading and so much more. Enjoy new skills like plant and animal ID and basic First Aid and Leave No Trace. These skills will leave you wanting more opportunities to challenge yourself! $450 includes meals, lodging and group equipment.
Expedition Leader Stacy Wells has over 20 years of outdoor education experience.
