Nita Kehoe
Professor of Art
I love when students understand a concept and create artwork they are proud of.”
Biography
Nita has been a faculty member at CWC since fall of 2000. During her tenure within the art department she has expanded the sculpture offerings to include welding and hot glass. In addition to those areas she also teaches bronze casting, fibers and art history.
Nita's current body of artwork is inspired by the human form and the everyday actions we perform that through repetition become ritual. She believes that through these rituals we reconnect to our architectural and natural surroundings. She combines elements from these three worlds in an attempt to create correlations among them.
