Biography
Wayne has been at CWC for 11 years and shares his real world experiences as a mental health counselor in his human services courses. He spent 18 years as a mental health and addictions counselor at a Community Health Center and two years as a counselor at a halfway house for ex-offenders.
Wayne also teaches courses in counseling, drugs and behavior and addictions.
He utilizes a lot of hands-on learning activities and role playing activities with his students to teach skills in human services.
When he’s not working, Wayne is fly fishing, skiing, golfing, backpacking, canoeing or hunting birds. He earned his master’s degree at North Dakota State University.
