This course offers the opportunity to learn and practice effective and practical methods of meeting the needs of young children as individuals and as members of a group, in an approved early childhood setting. The lab component provides related, supervised on-site experience in an approved early childhood center. The primary function of financial accounting is to provide useful financial information to users external to the business enterprises. The focus of financial accounting is on the information needs of investors and creditors. This course is a study of accounting principles and procedures with emphasis on analysis, interpretation, and controls required for both the business and providing external entities useful financial information. This is a capstone course designed to integrate farm and ranch management skills into the day to day farming/ranching practices. Students are required to develop a farm/ranch management plan which encompasses farm/ranch resource inventory, strategic planning, strategies, and tax liability management.
