Human Services
Associate of Applied Science Degree
If you have a passion for problem-solving, are a natural caregiver, love working with people, and seek new challenges daily, then a career in human services might be a great fit. This program is designed for students who wish to enter the workforce after completing their two-year degree.
Complete 300+ hours of field experience which focuses on skill building. This gives students the unique opportunity to gain practical experience and provides guidance in choosing a career path. Some examples of field experiences have been at detox centers, probation and patrol, drug courts, senior centers, rehab facilities, correction centers and more.
CWC offers two options within the Human Services degree; a general option and an addiction option for those students specifically interested in seeking employment in the addiction treatment field.
Human Services - General Option, AAS is a Wyoming Works program

Students must complete general education requirements that will provide students a general knowledge to help them complete a degree at CWC.

Human Services Addiction Option
Associate of Applied Science
The addictions option is designed for students who wish to work in the addictions field. This will prepare students to obtain their Certified Addictions Practitioner Assistant Certification from the State of Wyoming.
