Basketball teams excel off the court

The Rustler basketball teams have been working hard on and off the court this academic year. The women’s basketball team had a 3.76 cumulative GPA score and the men’s team had a 3.18 cumulative GPA.

Chelsea “Shay” Bad Hawk chose CWC because it was close to home and said she likes being close to her family. She was a member of the cross-country team in fall 2016.

CWC to honor National TRIO Day

Logan Kay is a sophomore from Thermopolis and is studying communications, radio broadcasting and film. Kay also decided to pursue a degree in film because he liked the instructor and wanted to learn from him.

Phlebotomy class at a 100 percent pass rate

For the last two years, students in the phlebotomy class who are majoring in the medical assisting program at Central Wyoming College had a passing rate of 100 percent.

Kierra Muehler is from Riverton and is a freshman at CWC. Not only did Muehler chose CWC because it was affordable but she also received scholarships to attend. The theatre major started acting in high school and decided to pursue a degree in it.
