Associate of Arts Degree

Earn a degree that can be utilized in any career! Communication can be a stand-alone degree or complement any other degree. Learn from courses that will enable efficient navigation through professional, social and personal circumstances that are inevitable throughout life. Skills obtained in this program will be immediately applicable in any endeavor whether it be continued education or starting a career.

According to a survey in 2010 by the National Association of Colleges and Employers, "Communication skills are ranked first among a job candidate's 'must have' skills and qualities."

Not only is this program about the art of communication, it also shines a necessary light on the beauty of differences in humanity.

This program is intended as a transfer degree and should complete the first two years of requirements for a 4-year degree in Communication.

Students may take any three (3) elective credits from the following: Film, Media, or Communication.

Students must complete general education requirements that will provide students a general knowledge to help them complete a degree at CWC.
