Central Wyoming College Awarded Wyoming Works Grant for Meat Processing
December 11, 2019Governor Gordon’s Wyoming Works initiative awarded Central Wyoming College (CWC) a $777,809 grant to develop a Meat ScienceProgram. The funding also serves Eastern Wyoming College and Sheridan College in a consortium for Meat Science.

CWC Completes Higher Learning Commission Visit for Proposed BAS
December 5, 2019On December 2 and 3, 2019, the Higher Learning Commission (HLC) accreditation team of Dr. Sandra Bowles, Director of Special Projects at University of Charleston and Dr. Casmir Agbaraji, Dean of Undergraduate Studies at Navajo Technical University, performed an on-site visit to assess Central Wyoming College’s readiness and capacity to provide bachelor’s level education, as well as details on stakeholder input, required approvals, and the extent to which college faculty and staff were involved in the process of preparing to offer the new degree program.

CWC Fall Music Concert set for Tuesday
November 15, 2019The Central Wyoming College music department will present a fall concert on Tuesday, Nov. 19 at 7 pm in the Robert A. Peck Arts Center Theater. The concert will feature the College Band, under the direction of Kelly Dehnert and the Collegiate Chorale, under the direction of Sharon Dalton. The concert is free and open to the public.

CWC Alumna Wins Wyoming Film Festival
November 4, 2019Central Wyoming College alumna Falon McCormick won Best Wyoming Film with her 3-minute short, “Addiction,” at the 307 Film Festival in Laramie on Aug. 25.
